Osage County Sheriff creates 'National BTK task force' to aid in Pawhuska cold case

PAWHUSKA, Okla. — Osage County Sheriff Eddie Virden created a task force to help in a cold case investigation out of Pawhuska.
The task force will include experts and law enforcement agencies from Oklahoma, Kansas and several other federal agencies to aid in the 1976 Cynthia Dawn Kinney case.
The sheriff's office said initial findings show a possible connection between Kenney's death and the infamous BTK killer, Dennis Rader.

Nationally known polygraph examiner and private detective Lisa Ribacoff joins "Mind Over Murder" co-host Bill Thomas to discuss how the FBI used a polygraph exam to ID then suspect Alan Wade Wilmer Sr as one of the responsible parties for the 1988 disappearance of Keith Call and Cassandra Hailey in the Colonial Parkway Murders. Despite much corroborating evidence, Wilmer was dismissed on the basis of a polygraph exam. Now, confirmed serial killer Alan Wade Wilmer Sr. has been named as the murderer of Robin Edwards and David Knobling in the Colonial Parkway Murders in September 1987, as well as the murderer of Teresa Howell in Hampton, VA June 1989. Wilmer remains linked in the disappearance of Keith Call and Cassandra Hailey.
